  • The COFHED 2023 gala is hybrid, with the event being held in-person at the Intercontinental Hotel in St. Paul, Minn. and remote attendees streaming the entire program live on Zoom.

  • Yes! The Intercontinental Hotel is offering a special rate to gala attendees who wish to stay overnight once the event has concluded. To book your room, please click HERE. Note that the rate is good through April 2.

  • Valet parking is available at the venue at an additional cost. Otherwise, there are a variety of street and ramp parking options nearby. Please click HERE for more info.

  • Yes, all attendees, regardless of whether they attend in-person or remotely, will be able to bid on and win silent auction items. All bids will be handled through our OneCause online platform, which attendees will get access to prior to the gala.

  • VIP tickets will enjoy an exclusive reception with COFHED cofounders Nick and Madeleine Avignon before the gala begins. Gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

  • COFHED is thrilled to have Miss Universe Haiti 2021, Pascale Belony, attending in-person this year as our guest speaker. Pascale is a tireless advocate for Haitian-led development and supporting communities in reaching their hopes and dreams.   • This year’s gala will include an in-person (and live-streamed) dance lesson for the konpa, a form of dance originating in Haiti and popular with Haitians everywhere.
